Two Service Charges Received from FirstPort

As one or two residents have already posted on this subject, but we have just received two service charge statements in the post:

• One adjustment for the year 2020-2021 total of 14p credit.
• One for the year 2021-2022 for a charge of £8.15.

As one resident has already noted, we were already made aware of the charge for £8.15 sometime last year, so that’s not something new.
Interestingly, we have not had a service charge for the year 2022-2023 as yet. We wonder how much they will charge us…
Reminder that if you are in credit still (luckily we are), you don’t need to pay anything – FirstPort simply reduce your balance. If you are in a debit position, then you need to pay FirstPort whatever it states on your service charge paperwork, then claim it back from Bloor Homes, using the paperwork we have shared previously.
