Work on Wildflower Meadows and Tree Felling

The RA has received notification from Bloor Homes that they plan to undertake some work over the coming weeks as follows:

  • Wildflower flailing work is scheduled for w/c 30th September 2024. The contractors may improve on this timeline slightly.
  • Tree works, including the removal of dead trees. This is also scheduled for w/c 30th September 2024.

This work ties in with items on TDRA’s snagging list.

    Where are they planting wild flowers?Are they planting bullrushes in the balancing ponds?

      They plan to flail or cut back the existing wildflower meadows. They have been looking tatty for a while now, so much needed. The two dead trees need to be felled and there may be some additional branches that need to be brought down as well. No to the bullrushes!
