You will have noticed that the trees are being replaced. We are not quite sure why they are not planting the new trees in the same place as the old ones? Anyway, we guess we should be grateful for some activity of any sort.
We are concerned about the state of the path through the Public Open Space (the yellow path). We have highlighted concerns about drainage previously, but all the paths seem to be in a really bad shape right now – it’s more like a beach, with bike and pushchair tracks being left and people dragging sand and gravel onto tarmac paths when they leave the yellow path. The comparison between our yellow path and the path on the Cala Homes development is stark.
Has anyone got any info on the standard that paths should be built to? The only ref we have is to the plans which were approved and that simply states what materials will be used. There must be something we can hold Bloor to, to force them to fix the issues with the yellow path. Your thoughts would be welcome.
