

Update on FirstPort Payment Extension Request

Sorry we are posting so much this morning, but we keep getting emails/calls which are very relevant to other residents!
Latest update – response from FirstPort to our request for an extension of the payment terms. We had asked for an extension to end Sep. In fact it seems things are less complex than that.
Apparently there are only 6 properties that have a positive balance. Everyone else is in credit and therefore does not need to pay. In each of these 6 cases, the invoice is less than £30.
If anyone has a positive balance, could they just let me know? Would be good to get confirmation that this figure of 6 properties is correct.
In which case, if it really is just 6 properties and the invoice to be paid is less than £30 in each case, we would be tempted to just pay this and we can continue to challenge FirstPort on their invoice separately and without the worry of any aggressive enforcement action hanging over residents. The next invoice is likely to be in 12 months time.
