Speeding at the Main Crossroads

 We have had an email from a resident in regards to the main crossroads at Virgate/Furlongs/Lammas Land. Specifically highlighting a concern over speeding and/or general driving without due care of others.

This ties in with others’ concerns over speeding on site by delivery drivers and others, raised on the FB group.

Is there anything we can do about this? Signs? Painted road markings at the crossroads in question?

We are likely to be limited in what we can do in the short term, since we would need approval from OCC, since they own the roads (or will own the roads after adoption). But there’s nothing stopping us deciding on what we think we might want and putting in a request to OCC.

We are interested to hear residents’ thoughts…
