Points raised in relation to the southern part of the west side of the development:
- Noted that one of the play equipment items still had fencing around it. Unclear why.
- Action: AB to find out why one item of play equipment still has fencing around it.
- There are a number of overhanging tree branches that need to be removed due to how close they are to houses. These have been agreed with individual home owners.
- Proposal: Remove overhanging branches as agreed with home owners.
- According to the plan there should be some low-level planting against the fence alongside plots 74 and 75. Unclear whether we should proceed with this or not.
- Action: NB to check with home owners as to whether they have a preference for this low-level planting or not.
- According to the plan there should be some low-level planting against the fence alongside plots 65 and 66. Unclear whether we should proceed with this or not.
- Action: NB to check with home owners as to whether they have a preference for this low-level planting or not.
- There is an existing 500mm cleared but rough “walkway” against the fence alongside plots 53, 54 and 56.
- Proposal: Retain this “walkway” next to these fences to allow for fence maintenance.
- We then walked into the centre of the development over the old compound.
- The hedge fencing to the pumping station is missing.
- Proposal: Install the hedge fencing next to the pumping station.
- The large tree in this area is surrounded by a large amount of soil with a steep gradient – this needs to be reworked. This area hasn’t been seeded and is likely to be one of the last areas to be seeded on the development.
- Proposal: Increase the gradient to something like 1 in 3 by removing some soil to make the “hole” larger. This hole will then look similar to the SUDs in terms of long grass.
- Also noted that the unofficial compound will remain in this area for a short whilst work continues on site.
- According to the plan there should be a walkway against the fence alongside plots 50 and 51. It is currently overgrown and not easily passable.
- Proposal: Establish this “walkway” by strimming the growth back next to these fences to allow for fence maintenance.
- Action: NB to check with home owners as to whether they have any concerns about this.
- Similarly on the other side, according to the plan there should be a walkway against the fence alongside plots 33 to 38 and 40. It is currently overgrown and not easily passable.
- Proposal: Establish this “walkway” by strimming the growth back next to these fences to allow for fence maintenance.
- Action: NB to check with Soha/home owners as to whether they have any concerns about this.
