

Meeting with Chamonix

Quick update on the meeting we held with Chamonix on Mon 28/09:
- As planned, we met with the Chamonix Account Manager and Chamonix Property Care rep. We walked around the development and mixed general discussion about how the handover would be managed, with discussion about specific snagging issues.
- Overall the meeting was very positive – it lasted about 90 mins. The Property Care rep was very vocal about the work that Bloor still need to undertake before Chamonix will consider taking responsibility for any aspect of the common areas (in the context of a phased handover).
- Any Chamonix work that takes place after a phased handover of part of the common areas, will be charged to Bloor and not the Management Company (MC). That seems a more acceptable proposition. Only when the full handover is completed will the MC incur any cost.
- Final handover is likely to be early 2021.
- We have placed a number of actions on Chamonix, so the real evidence of their commitment to developing a good working relationship will be whether they address those actions in a timely manner.
