ECL Works Update: We thought we would ring the telephone number provided to see who would answer. Remember we were told that it was supposed to go straight through to the Site Manager on site? Well it doesn’t. But ECL is happy that we share the Site Manager’s mobile number with everyone. It’s [Redacted].

We are also trying to find out what work ECL has in plan for today and for tomorrow. We have not seen any real evidence of any work so far today (that doesn’t mean to say work isn’t happening somewhere on site that we can’t see)!

This is a bit of a test to be honest, but we think we are missing a “Resident Liaison Officer” who should work for Bloor and act as our information point. Someone who proactively gathers info from Bloor and its partners and makes that info available to the residents.

So we are going to see whether we can’t mimic that role over the next few weeks. Firstly, are Bloor and/or ECL prepared to make some basic planning/work info available to us, and can we make that info available to the rest of the residents in a way that makes it useful.
