Public Arts Funding

We had a Teams meeting with the council on Thu to talk about the arts funding that is available for the development (about £47k). We met the Arts Development Officer and Programme Manager at the council.

They are going to send some intro documentation to us next week, which we said we would share with everyone. Then we are going to organise a Facebook Live session so that anyone interested can (virtually) meet them and hear about the process for selecting and delivering items of art for the area.

Key focus will be on gathering suggestions for spending this art funding, allowing residents to select one of the options proposed, then we can sit back and watch the selected art being delivered. More on this next week…
