All Residents Meeting – Aug 2024

The RA is pleased to announce another key milestone in our journey to take control of the Management Company (MC). The Resident Director (RD) nominees have organised their first All Residents Meeting to take place on Friday 2nd August 2024 at the Village Hall in Drayton.

The RDs need to secure residents’ support for our proposed new Managing Agent (MA): Saxons. We introduced you to Saxons a few weeks ago, when we announced our Recommendation for our New Managing Agent. So it made sense to organise a meeting to allow residents to meet Saxons in person.

The meeting has been organised to start at 2pm and finish by 3pm at the latest. To be honest, we are likely to get through the agenda in about 30 mins, so it’s then just down to how many questions residents have. We will hang around as long as residents have questions, so feel free to stay as long as you like!

Quick note about the timing of the meeting. It’s never easy to find the perfect time – no time will suit everyone. We have had to taken into account the availability of the Village Hall.

If you can’t make it on this occasion, don’t worry, this won’t be the only opportunity to say hello to Saxons in person!

Agenda

The proposed agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. Welcome
2. Introduction to our Resident Director nominees.
3. Introduction to our recommended Managing Agent.
4. Update on Handover Timelines.
5. AOB (including any questions that residents may have).

As always, we are keen to hear your feedback, especially any indications as to whether you will be able to make the meeting, or if you would like to raise any specific items for discussion. That will help us gauge numbers and tweak the agenda.
