Little Smiths Farm Estate Planning Application Update (P25/V0180/O)

Some of you may be aware that the developer has submitted an appeal to the Secretary of State against Vale of White Horse District Council’s decision to refuse the above planning application.

This will directly affect The Dovecote and a number of residents may have previously submitted comments directly in response to that planning application. For context, the proposed location of this development is shown in the image below. The planning application was originally refused on 15th August 2025.

The (nominee) ManCo Directors are proposing to put someone forward to act on behalf of all residents on The Dovecote in this inquiry process. This may be in the context of Rule 6 status.

We are in the process of preparing a formal update for everyone as to how we propose to take this forward. In the meantime, we thought it was important to get this message out to everyone.
