Arts Project One Vote
This is the page where you can vote in support of the first Arts Project, which is to install a noticeboard at the entrance to The Dovecote. Having a noticeboard will ensure that we are fully inclusive when communicating with residents. You can find out more about this Arts project on ourΒ Arts Initiative page.
We do not know how much it will cost to install a noticeboard at this point in time. We are asking for your support to engage with artists to seek ideas and cost estimates for installing a noticeboard.
At a later point, residents will be asked to approve the proposed design, the installation location and the money required to install the proposed noticeboard. So residents are NOT voting on these aspects at this point.
Residents do not need to pay for this noticeboard. Any money to be spent will come from the Arts Funding that Bloor Homes has made available to be spent on The Dovecote.
Approach to Voting
This might seem a complex way to tell us a simple YES or NO, but itβs really important that we:
- Verify the identity of residents. [Note: Soha has delegated this choice to its tenants!]
- Minimise the risk of fraudulent votes.
- Establish a clear audit trail.
So, to start you on your journey in voting in support of this Arts Project, follow the instructions below.
